RedFox is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Data Center Engineer to join our team at our upcoming build [RFSG01], Ethio ICT Village.
The successful candidate will join the existing Data Center Team to support all aspects of the Sponsors large, complex, and growing infrastructure.
This person will be responsible for a wide spectrum of Infrastructure project work, with a major emphasis on efforts related to the development of the firm’s next generation data center strategy and migration from our primary site.
The successful candidate will support all our three build in Ethiopia.
As a DCOM, you will partner Global Program Managers to drive and implement consistent programs at all three datacenters build in Ethiopia.This role calls for a balance of leadership, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, and expertise in enterprise-level operations. You must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines, as well be able to support some regional and international travel.
RedFox is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support three leaders who oversee our regional Data Center footprint. Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our value added services operates to meet the demands of our customers. The person in this role will need to be a masterful problem-solver and an organizational force capable of complex calendaring. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will be resourceful in building relationships across the larger Facebook ecosystem.
Manage commissioning team, oversight of multiple projects, plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary Commissioning role for large data centers. This person is expectd manage our Equipment pre-start-up and start-up procedures; Development of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs); Comprehensive Commissioning documentation. He/She also needs to develop and administer functional tests for various building MEP systems, such as: fire alarm and control systems, HVAC, Chillers, CRAC units, normal and standby electrical distribution systems, UPS, standby generators, and emergency lighting, etc.
The successfull candindate is expected to have, hands on delivery and support expertise in Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless technologies.Familiarity with network monitoring protocols and methods (SNMP, Syslog, Netflow, etc). Hands on experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server configuration and integrations. Collaborate with internal technical staff to develop and implement solutions to identified issues. Must be able to perform work functions with an understanding of the SLA objectives and within the appropriate limits.
